thinkBuddha's First Birthday
Saturday July 29, 2006

That’s right, folks: it’s a day for wild and hedonistic celebrations, because thinkBuddha is one year old today. It’s been a hectic year since I put my tentative first post online twelve months ago, writing about Buddhism Without Buddhism.
Since then, I’ve written something of the order of one hundred and forty posts (I’m not even going to begin counting the number of words), covering a huge range of topics, and have been involved in many fascinating and stimulating discussions. I’ve also made a lot of new connections – both online and offline – and had a load of fun. So before I blow out the candles on that cupcake, I’d like to say thanks to all my visitors, fellow bloggers, friends and critics. And here’s to the next year!
Happy Birthday thinkBuddha! Wow, only a year? It feels so much older, such is the quality (and popularity). You’re doing a terrific job, Will, and save me some of that cake, would you? ;)
Thankyou Will for all your effort during this last 12 months. You have provided some of the most relevant and informative and particularly entertaining articles regarding Buddhism in the modern world.

Happy Blogday, Will! Thanks for sticking around. If I seldom comment, it’s only because I usually don’t have anything to add – you say it so well. Please keep doing that. This blog is, to borrow a phrase, an oasis of sanity.
Happy blogiversary to you!

Congrats! Sorry, I’m a bit late with that one … but it is sincere. A year is quite a milestone. Keep up the great work.
