Blogisattva Awards 2007
Monday February 26, 2007

I was pleased this morning to discover that thinkBuddha has been awarded a Blogisattva Award. The Blogisattvas are the brainchild of Tom over at Zen Unbound who set up the awards last year to coincide more or less with the Oscars. Bill Harryman’s Integral Options Cafe was awarded Blog of the Year, whilst here over at thinkBuddha I have been awarded the Wordsmithing Prize. This is what Tom has to say:
The Wordsmithing Prize for skilled writing was given to Will Buckingham who blogs both thinkBuddha.org and WillBuckingham’s weblog. Buckingham was cited for “his unique abilities that turn phrases into gold [and] churn lofty thoughts into buttery text.”
Pay a visit to the Blogisattva awards website for the full list of winners, and for links to all the nominated sites. There’s some interesting stuff out there…
As if there was ever any doubt….

Congratulations!
As one who is a word-smith and who has a spiritual outlook on things, I think you would enjoy the writings of Swami Nirmalananda Giri. Read the article, “Mind is All,” a commentary on the Dhammapada, at http://www.atmajyoti.org/spirwrit-dhammapada1.asp

As a regular reader and observer of your approach to awareness I am glad you were invited to this honour.
