Bulgaria

Last night I arrived in Sofia – city of wisdom, apparently, so I’m hoping that some of it might rub off – after a long train journey from Bucharest, and I’ve spent the morning here finding my feet and sorting myself out ready for the next couple of weeks of language learning and meeting up with folks here in the city so I can chat to them about my plans for the next novel. I have now reestablished electronic contact with the world, and have been catching up on emailing those I have neglected over the past fortnight. So when I’ve done this, I’ll be back to blogging, as an alternative to talking to myself as I wander the streets of Sofia alone (sob!).

I may be blogging a bit more about my travels here in Bulgaria over the coming weeks, but it seems more appropriate to put all that stuff over on my personal site at willbuckingham.com, whilst I keep thinkBuddha for the vaguely (often very vaguely) philosophical reflections that you regular visitors are accustomed to. So the general rule of thumb is, if you want to know how many cheese pastries I’m eating and so on, then my personal blog is the place to go; for the usual thinkBuddha stuff, then stick around these parts.

Right! Off to forage for cheese pastries.
