Crocs

No, we’re not talking about the oh-so-fashionable shoes; we’re talking about the toothy beasties.
In Taiwan recently, animal trainer Siu Si Hae has used Buddhist principles to tame crocodiles. With the help of a phalanx of Buddhist monks turning up every day to radiate a benevolent and peaceful aura, the crocodiles have become positively benign and now let their trainer ride on their backs and brush their teeth. Bless them. I always knew that crocodiles were really not that bad when you got to know them, that they were only profoundly misunderstood.
However, before you try to emulate Siu Si Hae’s success, the trainer sagely warns not to try this one at home, folks. Or not unless you have a group of monks on-call twenty four hours a day to keep your croc calm. And even then, remember that this is not a recommendation and that you undertake such things at your own personal risk. Neither thinkBuddha nor its associates (which, in this context, refers to Bodhicattva, the thinkBuddha cat) can be held responsible for any injury or damage arising etc. etc. etc. You get the idea.

In my honest opinion, most or all things in anture are profoundly misunderstood, but that is beyond the topic. Im glad to finally see and read about persons who think “beyond the box”.
