New blog online: The Myriad Things

Sunday May 27, 2012

Well, I’ve decided to set up a new blog, over on TheMyriadThings.com ; and so I’m more or less retiring thinkBuddha.org to give my attention to the new site. What this means is that I will not be posting any more here — other than occasional updates in the news section — and any new blog posts will appear on The Myriad Things.

Why the change? Well, when I decided last year (2011) to rethink what I was doing with thinkBuddha.org, one of the things that I realised was that the “Buddhist” (or even “Buddhish”) mandate of the blog was a bit confining. There were things that I felt I couldn’t explore within that particular framework, and so in the end I did not write about them at all. So after a lot of thought, I’ve decided that a new blog with a broader and less explicitly Buddhist mandate might work better, and eventually give me more scope. You can find it here

The Myriad Things

Do redirect your bookmarks to the new blog if you like; but do also continue to browse the substantial archive of articles here. Although this site is now officially retired, I’m keeping it up as a kind of online repository of thoughts, ideas and explorations.
